HSC Map is a location (GPS) based stock control software, which is designed for feed mixture calculation and raw material stock control. The basic idea is that the user can easily collect raw materials from the stock and calculate a single or multi-mixture composition, in order to obtain the proper copper and silica content and calorific value in the feed mixture, for example. The user may also test the calculated feed mixtures using the HSC Sim process calculator before starting to use the new mixture.

Material location data may be used in the HSC Map software, because most concentrates, fluxes and scrap materials look the same and the easiest way to identify them is the map location data. Valid location data decreases material searching time and also the number of mistakes and errors when raw materials are transported in the stock field.
